Grading is held every 3 months

The Belt System.

• White Belt
• White Yellow
• Yellow
• Yellow Green
• Green
• Green Blue
• Blue
• Blue Red
• Red
• Red Black
• Black Belt ( To reach this stage should be about 2 years of regular practice. )

The gradings consist of a combination of patterns (a series of set movements against an imaginary opponent/s) sparring, breaking and terminology, which is based on the Korean language and history. Gradings are conducted by Senior Instructors. Tae Kwon –Do only has nine black belts, the reason for this is that nine is the highest single digit.
